rice paper boba ~ 🧋
I saw so many people online make this and wanted to give it a try! It’s soo soft and chewy and really does taste pretty close to the real thing.
Making the boba balls are really easy - just dip rice paper into cool water and shake off the excess. You don’t want it to be soaked with water or else it’ll just fall apart. I know a lot of people use warm or even hot water to soften rice paper, but cool water is best because it’ll be easier to work with. Just wait and it’ll soften in about 20 seconds. Roll it up like an egg roll, then cut it into little balls. It helps to spread it apart so it can dry and be easier to cook lager.
Then make the brown sugar syrup - heat brown sugar and water until it forms a syrupy consistency. Add in the rice paper boba and heat until soft. Then add in a mix of tea/milk and cream cheese foam or whipped cream if you’d like :)
