This is a trip to London to bid farewell to one TOC, First Capital Connect, the journey starts at Rugeley Town and I board the 0731 to Rugeley Trent Valley worked by Class 170s to change trains onto the 0748 to London Euston worked by London Midland Class 350 Desiro.
On arrival into London Euston, met up with Toby Connor and travel on the London Underground Victoria Line to Brixton on 2009 Tube Stock and the next part of the journey was by Bus from Brixton to Loughborough Junction.
At Loughborough Junction was the first hour of filming during the day featuring SouthEastern Class 465s and First Capital Connect Class 319s, at the time of filming I needed to find my last Class 319 EMU and found it at Loughborough Junction, 319456.
After Loughborough Junction, I travel on a Class 319 to Circkewood to film some Midland Main Line action featuring Class 377s, 319 and East Midlands Trains Class 43 HSTs and Class 222. After an hour at Cricklewood, I went to Hendon to film the same but also features A Network Rail Trains featuring Class 67s and a freight train.
After the hour at Hendon, travel on a Class 319 to Elstree & Borehanwood and travel on a Bus from this station to the East Coast Main Line station of New Barnet, but the bus got stopped a stop early and walked down a road to the station.
It was time to leave the First Capital Connect on the Midland Main Line which is now Govia Thameslink and travel on a Class 313 to Hadley Wood to film some FCC EMUs, East Coast Trains, this also features a Network Rail Class 313.
After an hour at Hadley Wood, traveled to Alexandra Palace but while at Hadley Wood found out that a lineside fire happened between Old Street and Moorgate with the Moorgate Trains being diverted into London Kings Cross and also during my filming on the East Coast Main Line, I filmed First Hull Trains Class 180 and Grand Central Class 180 or Class 43 HST
At Alexandra Palace, left Toby Connor on the train and filmed at this station for a hour and once the hour was up, traveled on a Class 313 to Harringay to film the final footage of the day of First Capital Connect EMUs, after the time was up, traveled to Finsbury Park on a Class 313 and change trains to ride on a Class 317 EMU to London Kings Cross, which was to be my final First Capital Connect bash.
At London Kings Cross, I walked it to London Euston with a stop at London St. Pancras to see a Ferrari which was standing there and boarded the 1903 to Birmingham New Street, DRS Class 90, 90034 with the WB64 Pretendolino rolling stock but on route, got diverted via Northampton due to a signal failure.
Once arrived into Birmingham New Street, got something to eat and boarded a Class 170 DMU to Rugeley Town and said a few words to end the show, filmed 12th September 2014
