A short video about my shop build 2x72" belt grinder.

I designed it fairly compact and at the same time it's quite a powerful machine, suitable for any task.
Whether it is making knives or any other processing ,for this, I took a compact three-phase 1.5 horsepower motor
and engineered the chassis of the machine around it.

Due to the VFD application, the speed is adjustable from a few revolutions per minet to 3450 RPM, this is expressed in the speed
of the belt from 1 meter per second to 21 meters per second,This range of speeds is sufficient for processing any materials
from the wood,plastik, resin to a Hardened steel.

The chassis of the machine is made of 12mm steel, it was cut by a laser and welded into a single structure At the factory where I work my day job.
The tensioner and the roller plate were made of the same steel plate.

The machine's arms are also made of steel, This time from the transmission square of 30 by 30 mm.

All the wheels I made from 6061 aluminum,The drive wheel & tracking wheel are crowned to ensure accurate belt tracking.
