Percé is a city in Quebec ( Canada ) located at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula opposite the famous Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island . While the central village of Percé extends over approximately three kilometres between Pic de l'Aurore and Côte Surprise, the new city, incorporated in 1971, includes the territory of the townships of Percé and Malbaie 1 . It therefore includes the communities of Barachois , Belle-Anse, Bougainville, Bridgeville , Cap-d'Espoir , Cannes-de-Roches , Coin-du-Banc , L'Anse-à-Beaufils , Pointe-Saint-Pierre, Rameau, Saint-Georges-de-Malbaie and Val-d'Espoir .

Percé, recognized worldwide for the beauty of its landscape and its built heritage, is a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec .
