🔹 About the speakers:
Mike Dennis has a wide range of managerial experience in processing and manufacturing industries ranging from oil production and refining to chemicals, industrial, medical and speciality gases. His functional experiences include strategy, B2B marketing, product development, sales, operations, business and project management. Since retiring from full-time roles in the corporate world Mike has put his energies into growing ShareSoc’s membership base, managing his own investment portfolio, doing consultancy work, playing golf and climbing mountains.
Karin Schulte has worked in global logistics, investment banking and private equity in Asia for a total of 25 years based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Karin is currently based in the UK and actively invests in listed and unlisted companies. She has extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector both in the UK and internationally. Karin has a portfolio of roles and has a particular interest in the next generation of leaders.
David Stredder started as a sports journalist but decided to concentrate on his growing property management business from the age of 29. That business grew to be one of the largest in South London and was sold to an industry consolidator in the late nineties. Since then he has concentrated on his listed and unlisted investments and is an active small-cap investor. David was a founder and eventual chairman of the London Business Club and arranges regular investor dinners and company presentations in South East London.

🔹 About King’s Lab and what’s next:
The Lab is a project aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial skills and support those wishing to explore a career path in innovation, entrepreneurship and business. The year-long extracurricular programme is aimed at students from various degree paths and any subject (from undergrads to postdocs). The programme includes an intensive week-long residential and regular lectures, visiting mentors, entrepreneur-at-residence and more.
Emphasis is put on developing sustainable and ethical projects with a positive social and environmental impact as well as expanding entrepreneurial skills to students outside of the business school. The project is led by two King’s Fellows – Kamiar Mohaddes and Thomas Roulet, alongside student associates (Michaela Kadlecova, Adam Motloch).
