Unplanned downtime can be a major cause of lost production against planned business output. The Events which cause these losses must be understood and measures quickly taken to mitigate the risks of similar occurrences. When the cause can be attributed to equipment failure, the effectiveness of mitigating actions must be monitored and, where necessary, complemented with further measures until the required results can be shown to be achieved.
This demo will show production losses being captured on Production Loss Analysis module and reconciled against causing Events. An investigation into the root causes will then be launched by generating a Root Cause Analysis from a live Production Plan
The next demo in this series will follow the Root Cause Analysis process to the point where Recommendations have been generated and implemented and methods established to track the results of the changes made.
