Two weeks on, work continues on the deck to fit transparent noise barriers on both sides of the viaduct, reaching Moorhall Road, Harefield in North West London.
The curved alignment across the lakes has mean't the new high speed line will pass near the old Denham Film Studios. Travelling at 180mph...it will be a brief encounter with the former workplace of some of UK's greatest film directors.
HS2 is the UK's newest high speed railway linking London Euston to Birmingham (140km) and the north. High speed trains are due to cross through here in the early 2030's.
