BROKLYN, NEW YORK - On Sunday March 12th at approximately 2025 hours police responded to a 911 call for a male shot at 2815 Avenue U within the confines of the 61 Precinct. Upon arrival observe a 29 year old male shot in the torso. The victim was removed to NYC Health and Hospitals Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
3.12.23 | SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn- A 29-year-old man is dead tonight after being shot and struck in his torso. The incident took place at a bodega located at 2815 Avenue U in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn at around 9 pm Sunday. The victim was rushed to Coney Island Hospital but was pronounced dead. The suspect fled from the scene and police are searching for the suspect. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time per family notification. Police are at the moment still investigating the motive of the crime.
