The ASEAN Action Plan on Fall Armyworm (FAW) Control and CABI are catalyzing action towards effective approaches for FAW biocontrol in Southeast Asia. This session (the second of a three-part series) features insights from: (1) Dr Roma Gwynn (Biorationale) as an introduction to biopesticides, (2) Dr Jie Zhang (Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences) on the use of Bt-pesticides for FAW control in China, (3) Dr Pathi Srigiriraju (Provivi, Inc.) on the use of pheromones for FAW control, and (4) Dr Thomas Jaekel (Centre for International Migration and Development) on biopesticide regulation in ASEAN.
Grow Asia is the secretariat of the ASEAN Action Plan on FAW Control, and was a key partner in developing this comprehensive regional approach to controlling FAW.
