Like a White Russian, the combination of Homemade Advocaat Liqueur, Cognac, Dry Vermouth, Angostura Bitters and ground Cinnamon make a boozy, creamy and slightly sweet drink. Anything that uses Advocaat ([ Ссылка ]) seems like a winter or a holiday cocktail. This one manages to break away with the use of Dry Vermouth.
Dry Vermouth is a strong, tangy addition to a drink that is otherwise fairly sweet. The balance on this one is a little precarious. You'll definitely want to give this one a long, hard shake to help round out the tang on the Dry Vermouth. You could also serve this one over ice if you've worn out your pitching arm and can't quite get the dilution from shaking alone. Just shake it and pour it, ice and all, into a rocks glass just like the Jack Torrance ([ Ссылка ]). Cheers!
Recipe:
1 oz Brandy
1 oz Advocaat
1 oz Dry Vermouth
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
garnish Ground Cinnamon
Shake ingredients (minus cinnamon) with ice.

Garnish with Ground Cinnamon
