Hiriyaseegai is a small mountain village in the Kundah Taluk of The Nilgiris district. This small beautiful village is the very last village on the south west corner of the Nilgiri mountains. Hiriyaseegai is around 60 kms from Ooty town and the nearest town is Manjoor is about 30 kms from the village. The road to Hiriyaseegai from Manjoor is very scenic and passes through the jungle with many hairpin bends.
Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) Ooty depot runs two small buses (SWB) to this village from Ooty Central bus stand and the traveling time will be around 03:30 hrs. The bus will go via Lovedale, Kaikatty, Kundah, Manjoor, Thaisolai and Kinnakorai. Also one bus to Kinnakorai village which is the nearest village to Hiriyaseegai. Kinnakorai is around 4-5 kms from Hiriyaseegai.
