to be, you are God. Break into our short span of life and show us those things
that are eternal, that we may serve your purpose in all we do; through Jesus
Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in unity with the Holy Spirit, one
God, now and forever. Amen.

Eternal God, in every age you have raised up men and women to live and
die in faith. We confess that we are indifferent to your will. You call us to
proclaim your name, but we are silent. You call us to do what is just, but we
remain idle. You call us to live faithfully, but we are afraid. In your mercy,
forgive us. Give us courage to follow in your way, that joined with those from
ages past, who have served you with faith, hope, and love, we may inherit the
kingdom you promised in Jesus Christ.

Announcements

We collect our regular offering as we enter the sanctuary for worship (or leave
the sanctuary at the end of worship). The donation box is on a small table as
you enter.

Our November Stated Session Meeting is today, Sunday, November 17 th ,
following coffee and conversation at approximately 11:30 AM in the Church
Hall.
Rev. Weaver will be with us on November 24 th and December 1 st , 15 th , and 22 nd .
Rev. Dr. Maria Rutland will be our pulpit guest on December 8 th . Mim Smith
will be our pulpit guest on December 29 th .
Our Christmas Eve Service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 24 th at 4:00
PM. Organist Kevin Ramer and vocalist Cassandra Petrie will celebrate
Christmas music as part of our Christmas Eve worship.
Next Sunday, November 24, the last Sunday of our liturgical year, is Christ the
King Sunday. We will celebrate the Eucharist during worship.
Also, next Sunday, November 24 th , our Annual Congregational Meeting will follow worship
in the Church Hall. Our average worship service attendance for 2024 is 16 in-person, with 20
on-line views. During the first three quarters of 2024, our expenses have been $41,851.96
and our income has been $41,832.67 for a nearly balanced budget year to date. Thank you to
everyone who helps make this happen! More information about our congregation will be
included in our annual meeting.
