IBM Cognos Analytics data modules provide a powerful, flexible, intuitive means to prepare, model, and report off external data (flat files, .CSV files, etc.), enterprise data (e.g. Framework Manager packages, Planning Analytics cubes, etc.), or a combination of sources.

In this brief video demonstration, we will accomplish the following:
• Import two source files to create a data module for reporting and analytics
• Modify the data properties and format
• Create a calculation
• Define a relationship and cardinality between the two imported sources
• Save and test the data module
