Trading the inside bar in the real world. How do you trade the inside bar pattern? Trading the inside bar but in a different way; I believe this is more practical than the theoretical way. I prefer this on a daily chart than an intraday chart. Move down followed by an inside bar - many people would take a short position at this stage. In my opinion a better way to trade this is to wait for one of two things. Very often we get an inside bar but this isn't followed by an immediate move down. Sometimes after the inside bar we get a couple of bars of consolidation and perhaps even a push higher intraday above the high of the last two bars and that stops a lot of people out. OK.
