The Department of Home Affairs has launched a new mobile phone app called Australian Immi App (the app).

This app allows you to provide your identity information in support of your visa application. This includes:
• passport details
• facial biometric image (applicant photo).

Currently, you could use the app to provide biometrics if you are located in the following countries:
• Fiji
• Samoa
• Tonga
• Papua New Guinea
• New Zealand

Important: The app is ONLY available for applicants who have been invited by the Department of Home Affairs to use the app.

If you have not been invited to use the app, in general, you will need to provide your biometrics at an Australian Biometrics Collection Centre (ABCC).
