Recorded on July 27 2019 the day after the Horseshoe Curve derailment
A monster Eastbound NS mixed freight 10G crawls up the west slope as an SD70ACC 1810, and a C44 Dash 9 9747 scream up the hill hauling a very heavy and long manifest train, with a set of helpers 6303, and 6319 pushing hard in the rear with a lot of diesel fuel smoke shooting up in the air, the under-powered mixed freight train only manged about a 10-15 MPH speed up the steep grade
At 6:12 the unexpected surprise of a Westbound empty coal train meets the very slow mixed freight, a great way to cap off this weekend on the Pittsburgh Line
