An outstanding Victorian ring in one of our favourite styles - the ‘Navette’ - a style popular during the Victorian era and enduring today given the flattering finger elongating shape which suits almost every hand!
This fine Victorian example is crafted from 9ct rose gold and set with a series of four graduated round natural faceted Emeralds, surrounded by twenty four stunningly faceted rose-cut diamonds.
The Emeralds are divine, richly saturated, beautifully faceted, and most importantly are in excellent condition with no abrasions or chips. The diamonds are lovely, all original, well matched and exhibit a warm romantic glow given the rose gold settings.
Of interest the inside of the shank bears the devotion - “’LB to KT’ July 16th 1897’” dating this one almost perfectly.
Low rise on the finger, beautifully made as one would expect of a fine piece of Victorian jewellery, wonderfully elegant and perfect for the Victorian jewellery, or Emerald, enthusiast.
