4K first-person perspective walking tour through the gorgeous North Yorkshire market town of Knaresborough in North Yorkshire, England on Wednesday Market Day as lockdown is further eased allowing some non-essential shops to reopen
Knaresborough is located about 4 miles east of Harrogate with around 15,000 residents. Knaresborough's castle was first built by a Norman baron in c. 1100 on a cliff above the River Nidd and has been long and storied history, best looking at Wikipedia for more information. The Market charter was granted to the town in 1310, by Edward II. Mother Shipton's Cave is in the valley bottom, here was home to Ursula Southeil (c. 1488–1561) a prophetess, also reputedly to be hideously ugly. Her caves and the petrifying well are now well-known local tourist attractions.
Filmed on Wednesday 22nd July 2020, around 2 pm with weather conditions cloudy but having missed the earlier rain and around 15°, I was using an Insta360 One R with Roland CS-10EM Binaural Earphones microphones. To provide a snapshot of a period of time, like all others, that will never be repeated.
All filming done by myself, please do not use without expressed permission. Any enquiries should be sent to walkingviewsuk@gmail.com
