May 6-10 is National Teacher Appreciation Week, and the 2023 National Teacher of the Year Rebecka Peterson had a virtual conversation with SRSU students, faculty, and teachers. Ms. Peterson earned the title among the top 50 states and US territories teacher contenders. She is a high school math teacher in Oklahoma and an inspiration for all teachers, parents, and students alike.
