Learning the shortcut keys around the BASH shell will help you become the quickest admin around the shell.
Ctrl + R to recall a command from history
Ctrl + A to the start of the line
Ctrl + E to the end of the line
Ctrl + K to delete tot he end of the line
Ctrl + X then BKspce to delete to the start of the line
ESC U to uppercase and ESC L to lowercase
