Facelift Expert & Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon showcases the Facelift Transformation Journey of a patient of hers who had a Deep Plane Facelift, Deep Neck Lift, Brow Lift, Lip Augmentation, Lip Lift and Facial Fat Grafting (Fat Transfer). You will see how she healed from the day of her surgery up to Day 18. A lot of her swelling came down and the bruising is gone. The shape of her face and jawline are more defined after everything has been lifted. She is still healing.

The average downtime for a Deep Plane Facelift surgery is 2 to 3 weeks, and it can take about 3 to 6 months to get to the final result. This is why you should plan far in advance of any important event. For Lip Augmentation and Lip Lift, it takes up to 3 months for the lips to settle as I am taking a fascia graft from behind the ear and inserting them into the lips combined with lifting the lips on the outside. There is swelling as the body tries to incorporate the graft into the lips. Fat transfer adds additional swelling on top of the facelift as I have to put more than twice the volume loss I am addressing because I anticipate only about 50% or less to take. Add all of this up and you have a longer healing time which makes it even more important for you to be patient with your body and the process.
