November 2019 update: I have now made a 2.03m / 6 feet 8 inch Rubik's Cube - [ Ссылка ]
August 2018 update: A slightly larger one has been made in Calgary Canada. It is yet to be ratified but I am sure it will be. For a while longer mine still holds the official world record which can be checked on the Guinness World Records website. Footage of my cube is available for license here- [ Ссылка ]
Updates:
23rd Aug 2018- Looks like there is now a larger one
13th Apr 2016- Accepted! Officially a Guinness world record at 1.57m.
11th Apr 2016- Submitted evidence to Guinness. Up to 12 weeks to wait for a decision.
29th Mar 2016- My initial application has been accepted. To my relief they agreed to change the minimum requirement from 2m to 1.5m. Now I have to submit the evidence required and have it passed. There's still a chance it could fail because although it contains a lot of plastic it isn't 99% like a standard cube.

14th February 2016: The puzzle is now fixed. I hope to make more videos including comparisons and eventually show the construction. At present though I am not revealing how I made it.
The puzzle is not yet an official world record. That will hopefully come after I have fixed it and my application is accepted. Watch this space for further updates.
