On a hazy, overcast day in August, we spend a day exploring the CSX Huntington Division around Hazard, KY. Even though coal traffic has been in a steep decline recently, two trains showed up during our time in the area. With rolling countryside, classic CSX power, and searchlight signals, this is old-school mountain railroading at its finest. Enjoy!
