Welcome to The Unplanned Way(TUW). Today we will be continuing our blissful Varanasi Tour covering Kashi Vishwanath temple & Sarnath Stupa.

We started our Day 2 with early morning visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. The Kashi temple is located on the banks of the holy Ganga river. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and an important place for Hindu pilgrimage.

When going around banaras tourist places, you cannot miss stopping by for banarsi silk saree. The banarasi saree is among the finest saris in India. Some shops might also give you a tour of how banarasi saree is made which is interesting to watch.

We then headed to Sarnath which is located about 10 km from Varanasi and falls under the top things to do in Varanasi.
Sarnath Varanasi is known to be the place of Gautama Buddha.
In the Sarnath tour, we cover the Sarnath museum and Sarnath stupa along with the Ashoka pillar. If you are a history buff, you simply cannot miss visiting the Archaeological Sarnath Museum.
