Steps:
- Start by opening the settings app, in settings, select ‘screen time’ from the left sidebar.
- Tap ‘use screen time passcode’ if you haven’t set this up already before.
- Choose a pin to use for screen time, youll then need to enter your apple ID and password.
- Once thats set up, select ‘app limits’ from the screen time settings.
- Tap ‘add limit’.
- Swipe down to reveal the search bar and then search for the app you want to lock. Select it and then tap ‘add’.
- Now you need to set the time limit to 1 minute and then tap ‘add’. This means that you are basically only allowed to access this app for 1 minute per day, and it will then be locked unless you enter your passcode to access it further.
- When you launch the app now it won’t let you access it, you can tap ‘ask for more time’ and then select ‘enter screen time passcode’ , you can then unlock the app for 15 minutes, an hour, or all day.
