In this episode of Vegan Wine Review, I review the 2018 Cattin Sauvage Pinto Gris from Alsace, France featuring special guest @thatveganwife!
We LOVE that this wine is clearly labeled “vegan,” which is
rare to see on wine labels. Amy shares that she stopped drinking wine because it usually makes her sick until she discovered the clean-created difference! We talk about how added sugars, added sulfites, and chemicals can be the culprits to the notorious wine hangover. Disclaimer: Our wines are not hangover free-everything in moderation, obviously. BUT if you had too much fun drinking our clean-crafted wine at least you’ll know the hangover isn’t from all that junk added in mass-produced wine!
We called this wine the Mindy Kaling of Pinot Gris. It's FULL of personality, character, and sass. This full-bodied wine has notes of ripened peach and orange marmalade. It would pair well with an African peanut stew. Check out a delicious recipe for this from @sweetpotatosoul!
