U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today recognized East Aurora Middle School as one of 269 schools named 2012 National Blue Ribbon Schools. East Aurora Middle School was one of 19 schools in New York State nominated for the award, and one of four New York State Middle Schools selected as an "Exemplary High Performing School" through rankings in performance on state assessments.
