Welcome to Şanlıurfa, the land of the prophets! This city in the Southeast of Turkey was home to the most famous prophet of all monotheistic religions: Prophet #Abraham!

The legend goes that back in the day there was an all-powerful king named Nimrod. There are many different versions of this legend that originate Nimrod's background to Assyrians and Babylonians. No matter its location, Nimrod's kingdom was transcending mountains and seas. He was a polytheist, meaning he had several God figures and idols that he and his folks worshipped.

One day he had a dream of a big bright star. His best clairvoyant interpreted the dream as a danger to his throne that would be induced by a baby boy who was supposed to born later that year. Furious Nimrod ordered all baby boys in his kingdom to be killed before any of them had a chance to grow up and take over his kingdom and end his tyranny. The baby boy in the story however was protected by a God, and not just once or twice but for all his life.
