Took a trip out yesterday afternoon to see The Scarborough Spa Express leave on its return journey to York.
For all you Anoraks out there (like me) this is Engine No.35018, "British India Line" built in May 1945, and scrapped in August 1964............but rescued in 1979 from the scrapyard in Wales, and restored between 2012 & 2017. Now back in action!! Pulling some interesting, if very worn, rolling stock too!
