With the current rate increase by major telecom companies, the market has seen a gradual shift.

Despite increased competition from Jio & Airtel, BSNL's lower tariffs helped it gain 2.9 million new users in July 2024 after nearly two years of subscriber losses.

However, Reliance Jio still remains at the top not just in terms of market share but with a 9.62% YoY growth in AGR, reaching Rs. 978.68 billion in FY 2023-24, followed by Airtel at Rs. 805.29 billion.
