Many people use logical fallacies in arguments. This is particularly common on social media. One such fallacy is the slippery slope fallacy, which is often used by politicians, but is also made when people are arguing against science or public health measures, and one person who has done this is Dr Vinay Prasad. In this video, Dr Susan Oliver, scientist and part-time ski bunny, will be discussing Dr Prasad’s logical fallacy and why the slippery slope fallacy is just a fallacy.
