This is the latest Specialized Epic. It has an updated frame and does away with the ‘Brain’ suspension system – instead adopting RockShox Flight Attendant at S-Works level.
As has become the norm in recent years, this latest model gets the longer, lower, slacker treatment at the front and back.
These changes and more have our test team asking if this could be the most capable cross-country mountain bike on the market, with Specialized claiming it’s the “fastest XC race bike in the world” What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
