How to open bake 4 sourdough loaves simultaneously in a normal fan oven, and still get a nice ear.
This is a fan oven and I pre heat to 240C, before placing the first loaves into the oven, I then let the heat rise to 240C again after loading the second set of loaves. Once the oven is back to 240C I turn it down to 220C until about 17 mins are up. I then turn the loaves to ensure even colour and bake for another 15 to 19 mins depending how dark I would like the loaves to be. follow for part 2 and the results.
