Recover Money Mistakenly Sent to the wrong UPI ID
We all are living in a digital era where transactions take place in our day-to-day use, UPI eases the difficulties we get while transferring money from one bank to another or purchasing any goods or services virtually. Contactless payment has been encouraged during the pandemic. People mostly prefer to use UPI /Wallets instead of Cash. But it is often seen that sending money digitally via UPI id may mistakenly be sent to the wrong UPI Account. Many people believe that their money can’t be returned once there hard earn money is mistakenly transferred to an unknown person’s UPI Bank Account but it is not actually true, One can get money back with a process involved as discussed below.

STEP 2: Inform the bank within 3 days of the transaction
STEP 3: Lodge a complaint against a specific Regulated Entity at RBI Website
