Lokoya Winemaker Chris Carpenter’s FIRST EVER CHARDONNAY!!

I have. No words. (Well that’s a lie... in fact, i had too many 🤦🏼‍♀️). Truly this blew me away and if the expectations for this single vineyard chard weren’t high enough, finding out that it was also the very first time 💯 point winemaker Chris Carpenter (of @cardinalewinery @mtbravewines & #Lokoya ) has ever made a #chardonnay made it all the more exciting! Believe me when I say, 60 seconds was not nearly enough time for this wine. SO, I did an extended version so you can dive a little deeper with me into the tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and what makes this wine so darn special. I couldn’t be more excited to be among the first to try this and hope my fellow #chardonnaylovers will follow suit and grab a bottle. It’s SUPER rare to see a Chardonnay from Howell Mountain as the real estate is just too high to make it cost effective for anything but Cabernet really, so this is an all around gem that #winecollectors are not going to miss. The wine is available on the site and 2017 is the first and only vintage available right now.
