Disney has requested the shutdown of Club Penguin Legacy, a Club Penguin private server meant to replicate the early, nostalgic era of the online game. Club Penguin Legacy released a statement on Twitter talking about what this means for their server, and why Disney should reconsider shutting them down.

While Disney shut down the main Club Penguin in 2017, we've been getting a ton of Club Penguin private servers like Club Penguin Rewritten, Club Penguin 3D, and more. These all hope to keep the game alive in one way or another, but Disney wants to protect their IP. Will this ever stop?
