Humans are pretty funny critters, don’t ya think? We spend countless hours of our lives creating these internal concepts and attachments to how we think we should live our lives, often dictated and shaped by the societies we live in, and you’ve probably ended up subconsciously creating a bunch of different ideas, assumptions or goals to pursue based on what was modelled as ‘successful’ to you.
Things like finishing school at a certain age, getting a job, security, a dog, partner, married, buying a house, yada yada - these are all measures of what it means to live a ‘happy successful life’ by our societies standards. Yet at the same time we actively shun or hide the rough parts of life - the loss of a job or a loved one, a messy breakup or divorce, depression, a midlife or quarter-life crisis, the list goes on. We’re taught by society that these are things we should be ashamed of or embarrassed by, when in reality, these hardships are very normal and are what truly shapes us into who we are.
So let’s take a look at the world around us for some insight and inspiration on what it means to live in this world today - let’s look at all these trees! There's a lot we can learn about ourselves from the natural world if we only learn how to look at things just a little bit differently; here's an inspirational piece of philosophy from the natural world to help make your journey though life more enjoyable. Sure, these trees are beauties, but ya know what? So are you. Embrace all those twist, turns, knots, broken crowns and bent branches, you gorgeous little tree, you! 🙌🌲
Thats the Poetic Beauty of Natures Resilience, and its what makes everything, everyone, all of this so dang pretty. ❤️
