Rahul Gandhi, the opposition leader, has sharply criticised the Union Budget, accusing the government of supporting crony capitalism. He claimed that the budget neglects crucial social groups such as farmers and the middle class, referring to their plight as 'tax terrorism.' Drawing an analogy from the Mahabharata, Gandhi suggested that Prime Minister Modi has ensnared India in a modern 'Chakravyuh,' controlled by six individuals: Modi, Amit Shah, Ajit Doval, Mohan Bhagwat, and industrialists Ambani and Adani. Pointing at the Finance Minister, Gandhi remarked that 'the country's wealth is being divided, but 73% of the people are left out.'
