The Tosa Inu is the largest of all Japanese dog breeds that comes from a long fighting history. Today, however, they enjoy a more docile and affectionate existence among their own family and are known to be more aloof toward strangers. They are known for their patience and composure, and will always uphold a vigilant disposition. They are commonly used as watchdogs.
