Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will on Monday inaugurate the seven-day Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Fair (KLIBF 2022), organised in connection with the centenary celebrations of the Assembly library. Anti-drug messages echoed at the opening ceremony of the Kerala Legislature International Book Festival (KLIBF), which began with the tagline ‘Reading is an addiction’ at the Assembly premises on Monday, taking a jibe at the state government’s anti-drug campaign. Weaving effort for the right. More than 100 publishers and renowned authors are participating in the book fair. Book releases, creative discussions, book signing events and panel discussions will be part of the book festival. Till January 15, the day the fair ends, the public will be able to reach the assembly premises from 9 am to 9 pm. Malayalam books will be available at a discount of 20% for individuals and 33% for institutions, while English books will be available at a discount of 10% and 20% respectively.
