La Vita Nuova (The New Life) was written by Dante Alighieri (1265-1321), who was best known for The Divine Comedy. Manly P. Hall gave this lecture on September 27, 1981, and while the subject is Dantes text, the advice and interpretation given is relevant to us today.
The CC subtitles have been conformed to match Lecture Note 289, which was published and edited by Mr. Hall himself. We feel it is important to reflect the changes he made, plus, it is interesting to see and hear where he decided to make 'corrections'. Usually, they are very slight, and are more for readability.
