So the term “follow cart” is one used in film production, where you’ll have a trolley/cart that a camera/sound/lighting technician will use to house equipment for theyre work, along with space for them work with said equipment, allowing them to move that kit easy around & to different studios while shooting.
This specific instance is a follow cart aimed at sound department, which will usually house radio mics, boom pole holsters, mic baskets (dead cats), radio IEM systems, batteries, cables, clamps, stands, & many other accessories used to operate & deploy mics on set.
