CM YS Jagan said to AP assembly that, Boya and Valmiki asked me in the padayatra to grant them ST status. As per the promise made in the elections we appointed a single member commission. We passed a resolution in the assembly based on the report given by that committee. In united Andhra Pradesh, the resolution was passed by YSR . Now we are again passing a resolution and sending it to the center. AP Assembly passed another resolution to grant SC status to Dalit Christians.
