Pf: Marc-Andre Hamelin (1992; Music & Arts)
A few years ago, I first heard Hamelin's 2007 recording of the Concerto for Solo Piano and fell in love with it. And not so recently, it was taken down, probably due to copyright. I was wondering why a sheet music video wasn't uploaded again... until I found out the first movement alone was about 72 pages long. Nevertheless, I was able to get the entire concerto done, with the 1992 recording. Fingers crossed that nothing happens to these gems.
I wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I didn't recommend purchasing Hamelin's 2007 recording of the Concerto for Solo Piano, provided by Hyperion. That recording is much more musical and is by far more pleasing to listen to, in my opinion.
