Amor Ekushey Book Fair is held month long in February of each year on the Bangla Academy premises and its adjoining Suhrawardy Uddan, Dhaka. It is an annual event for the booklovers and publisher. The fair is arranged every year by Bangla Academy commemorating the sacrifices of the language heroes who laid down their lives on 21 February 1952 to establish Bangla as the state language of the then East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh).
