The Baeksang Arts Awards, established in 1965 for the development of Korean pop culture and arts and for the morale of artists, was celebrating its 58th anniversary this year.

This award is the only comprehensive art award in Korea to award to the production crew and performers of the TV/movie/theatrical sector that have been aired, screened, or performed over the past year.

The 58th Baeksang Arts Awards 2022 has officially announced the nominees for its TV and film categories on April 11, 2022.

The candidates for Baeksang Arts Awards 2022 for TV and film categories were selected among K-dramas, variety shows, and films that aired or were released between April 12, 2021, and March 31, 2022.

The event was broadcast live in South Korea by JTBC and internationally by TikTok.
