Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for National Statistical Offices around the world to review the way they are able to collect information from the decennial censuses of population and housing. This webinar discusses some of the issues that affect the methodology, functions and processes of the census set within the context of: the global pandemic; the increasing reliance on the use of administrative data for statistical purposes; and the need to collect information generally in the journey towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
