The city of Paveh is located 112 km from the center of the province and 45 km from the zero point of the border. Residential structures and houses in this city are designed in such a way that in most cases the roof of a house that is built at a lower height than the mountain slope is the yard of a house that is built a few meters higher. For this reason, Paveh is called the city of a thousand Masuleh. In the past, Paveh had 9 neighborhoods in which the main residents of the city lived in these parts, and they are: "Peshte", "Miraava", "Sheh Khe Lian", "Se Redi", "Qadim Shar", "Asengaran", "Qalakhan Ya" Kalakhan", "Faiz Ava", "Savareh or Zavareh". The word "Kalakhan" is originally the whole brotherhood. This Arabic word is related to the place of residence of several Iraqi brothers from Mosul province who migrated to Paveh. The area of ​​Mosul province used to be near the city of Sulaymaniyah. Paveh people were gardeners and livestock farmers in the past. Today, these two professions have lost their prosperity, and especially the law of inheritance has a great effect on the fragmentation of the city's gardens. Today, Paveh is more of a service tourist city.
