I made this video in the course of my internship during my bachelor of Music. At that time I attend a professor in music theory during his work and helped him preparing and reinforcing his lessons in instrumentation and orchestration. I also gave a few lessons myself.
I made this video in order to illustrate all the different playing techniques on several instruments in the symphony orchestra that we've discussed during our lessons.
I chose this piece of Stravinsky because of the great video recording and the fact that it contains all the playing techniques I wanted to show.
When a certain playing technique is played it also appears in the score on the right.
The Performance was played by the The San Francisco Symphony conducted by Michael Tilson
