Hi, I'm Gary Wilkerson with World Challenge and this week we've been speaking about overcoming fear. Many of us have different types of fear: some the fear of flying, some the fear of spiders, some the fear of dark. But I want to tell you today, Jesus has come to put to death the fear of death by bringing us hope of eternal life.
Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us that Jesus, while he was dying on the cross, would break forever the power of the devil who had the power over death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. Jesus is your way of overcoming fear. Jesus is your way to freedom from fear. Trust him today. Lean on him today. Jesus is your only way to freedom from fear. Come to him today. Tell him your fears and you will find he will not only help you overcome your fear, but he will help you find great peace.
